Our Mission
Bub Club (Inc) is a friendly, fun and innovative parenting community; whose purpose is to make the process of parenting easier by reducing isolation and having support and friendships.
Our aim is to become a vital resource in every parents' toolkit; be one of the most recognised parenting sites in Australia; be the first place our members visit when online; and continue to financially support our community as it expands into the future.
We will continue to provide a free resource to our members; maintain a friendly, relaxing and exciting atmosphere where people feel comfortable to interact; and provide a warm, caring and supportive network.
How Bub Club started
Bub Club was born in June 2004, at a time when first time parents Hil and Ranz recognised that there was not enough support. They identified that the globalisation of society today has created a unique situation for families, where it is common for parents to be a long way away from their normal family support network. They also found that many people needed to connect to others in similar situations.
Because of their professional backgrounds in IT, they saw that an online resource was the answer to reach other parents easily. By providing a platform where parents can communicate freely and safely, without cost, in the comfort of their own homes was the driving force in the initial development of the web site. They quickly discovered that they touched people’s lives and made difference by connecting people and providing mutual support. These early successes validated the original purpose, and motivated them to keep growing and improving the community. Hil and Ranz believed in volunteer work as a way of putting something back into the community and to this day they continue to self-fund all administrative and running costs of Bub Club.
They knew before they could begin that they would require some assistance to help run the site. They found Trace, a first time mum from Sydney, who was very enthusiastic about joining the team. Trace became the first moderator of Bub Club, and now a Site Admin, and her contribution has largely formed what the site is today.
From the start, they found people who were willing to give their personal time to contribute to the site. Soon after, Sarah and Kaz came onboard to assist in the increasing activity on the site.
Today, the team at Bub Club comprises of the following members:
Ranz (Ranz) (WA) - Site Administrator (Site Developer)
DarkAngel (Hil) (WA) - Site Administrator (Technical Support)
mytwobabymonsters (Kaz) (WA) - Senior Moderator for entire site (Customer Service)

Bub Club incorporated in 2007, gaining official registration as an association. This was a major key development in the future strategy of Bub Club, where the incorporation represented our long standing non-commercial stance as an organisation.
Today, Bub Club provides support to thousands of members and their families. It celebrates regular organised meets, a highly active discussion forum, and an informal portal with many features and functions.
